Technical support and live remote diagnostics
This connected platform ensures highly responsive technical support during every service call. Thanks to this secure cloud connection, Valeo Service support teams can diagnose the vehicle live and remotely. In the event of a complex issue, the workshop technician receives real-time expert input: the after-sales service team instantly views the technical data to guide the resolution towards the most appropriate solution.
Full traceability throughout the entire lifecycle
Beyond simply detecting faults, the VDS tool centralises administrative tracking, traceability and customer loyalty:
- Immediate warranty activation: registering the sale of a new bike on the interface automatically triggers the 2-year warranty on all Valeo-branded components.
- Shared service logbook: every service, technical note or comment entered by a repair technician is saved in a universal database. The vehicle’s history can be viewed by any professional in the network upon subsequent login, offering ideal transparency for cyclists on the move.
- Battery state of health (SOH) certificate: the platform allows a transparent report to be generated, indicating the exact number of charge cycles and the battery’s actual state of health.
